Technology Platform - Enterprise Datacenter

Prevalent's Alpha facility is SSAE-16 Type II compliant. This means we have successfully completed an independent audit for our system’s design, controls, and operational effectiveness by an accredited third party auditor. This is more than a snapshot of the organization’s controls, security, and change management systems—it provides the operational effectiveness over a period of six months for highly regulated industries with sensitive data. Industries like finance, government, and healthcare need written documentation of control management around securing their data.   For more about HIPAA, HITECH, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, PCI-DSS compliance please click the link.

Our technology engineers will assist you in consolidating, migrating, virtualizing, moving, and sizing the data center needs to your specifications. We will help you understand the cost justifications for the “build vs. buy” model for data centers. You can take further advantage of cost savings by leveraging our Cloud infrastructure. By using your business impact analysis plan for each of your tiered applications, we can help you migrate and move applications that fit into a Cloud platform.

We want to be a long-term solution provider by understanding what drives your business and your technology needs. Therefore, we will size our environment to your specifications, even if that means you need less square feet.

Located in Katy, Texas, our "Alpha" datacenter facility is just outside of Houston, Texas.  It is built as a state-of-the-art, multi-tiered, highly redundant, robust, and highly secured facility. With a compliant SSAE-16 Type II audit, our data center facility also meets the standards for controls around business processes. Prevalent stands behind these commitments by issuing all clients a 99.999% SLA for uptime, which provides customers with access to their mission-critical systems and data.

Having the option of multiple carriers allows for carrier-neutral connectivity. Scalable bandwidth enables flexibility to add more bandwidth on an as-needed basis, including the option to burst beyond the committed rate for a brief period of time. We offer optional burst billing, preventing a financial penalty. SDCS offers blended internet connectivity for high availability. As a result, we provide 100% SLA uptime.

Our connectivity is carrier-neutral with diverse, buried fiber, including paths to redundant MDF’s.
